I’ve know this in my heart. Promotion doesn’t come form the east or the west, nor south or North. It comes from the LORD. And how does it arrive? It arrives when you have been tested and proved faithful in the little that is given to you.

I’ve gotten new responsibilities in Church now. Bigger than the ones I am used to handling right now. Praise GOD!!
I will obey and work in everything that the Church askes me to do , as I have been doing so for the last two years.

I want to encourage all of you who are reading this. If you aren’t serving in the House of God, you should start it right now! I plead with you. Once you know the wonderful joy and blessings it brings forth to you and the peope you WILL serve. And serving isnt about getting back. Its about loving the Lord. In the OT there was a tribe set apart to serve in the House of God. They were called Holy and reserved. There were things they couldn’t and only could do. If that was the case then, how much more? How MUCH more? HOW MUCH MORE…today??

What’s your plan?

I believe each and everyone of us has some idea of what we want to do, if not a definite answer to the question ” Where am I heading at?”. I’ve met a lot of people hanging in the balance of infinitum and not knowing for themselves what they want to do or what they can do for that matter. But let me remind you, we are a people of destiny. Not fate. Fate says that things happen as they have to and no one controls it , it chooses itself. We don’t believe in fate. We believe in Destiny.

Jeremiah 1:5

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

So its obvious that we have a purpose for our life! God did not create us because for ‘timepass’
No. He ordained and set us apart, a chosen generation.

So what then? I, for one feel really special. And one should. For knowing that you are chosen and unique will fill you with a sense of heavenly pride. The good sort, where you feel confident about yourself and all.

And as I was meditating on the scriptures God gave me a revelation from Matthew about our purpose.I was reading the birth of Jesus and God showed me how Joseph fulfilled what God purposed for his life.

The Bible testifies Joseph to be a good man. It actually says in Matthew 1:19

“Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.”( Mat 1:19)

Now this is what Joseph had decided. And the Bible even credits unto him righteousness. So if you think about it, the Bible says that whatever he did or thought he was righteous. So here was a man who being righteous wanted to do a good act (i.e save his fiance from judgement) and back out quietly. Now lets look at what the next verse says.

20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

God told me three things after I read this.

Joseph had decided his course of action. And lets remember that we are talking about a Righteous man here and in our times we would probably liken him to our Pastor or a Man of God.
But God had other plans.
Joseph was willing to change his plans for God’s perfect plan and in turn became a History Maker. And thus, Jesus was born and was called the Son of Joseph, a descendant of David, as the scripture records in Matthew 1:verse 22- All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.”

So are you willing to lay aside your plan and seek God for his perfect plan for your life?

History Makers

We had our Youth camp titled “HISTORY MAKERS” at Lonavla on the 12th and 13th of May. Surely History was made on these two days. Pastor taught us on Temptation: how and why we fall and how Jesus overcame it; the seat of Grace and Mercy; Choosing our life partner. Apart from these we had our Break out sessions in which boys and girls were put into seperating groups to talk and discuss issues on sex and family life. I was in Shannon’s group and I really saw some strongholds being broken by the Spirit.

We had the new worship team playing. They did a GREAT JOB leading us into Praise and Worship. Christine and Diana did a wonderful job of leading the Team. And I though wanted to play got something better from the Lord. I Could serve in the Sound and Equipment ministry , not to mention helping the leadership team. It really was an eyeopener to a lot of issues the youth face. And Prabhat’s testimony was really moving. He did what he aimed at” Bringing Glory to God” I could see a couple of youth answered the altar call after his testimony, PRAISE GOD!!!

I received some new gifting I never had before. Glory to God indeed. The Lord showed me a new way to soak in his Glory. I believe that things are going to be different in my life after this Camp. Also we are going to start a new Service called the “History Makers Service” fortnightly at Church in the evening. I’m believing to start playing the guitar for this to say the least.

I learned one thing in the camp:

God is a rewarder of your faithfulness. No matter how small or insignificant YOU may think it to be.

Sharing The Gospel

As I was distributing tracts a funny thing happened today. I just realized how easy this is. All you have to do is go up to them and hand out one and say, “you need to read this, if you havent already”. It really is the most fulfilling thing to do! I know it is a very small step. But its a small step of really huge faith.

Also Christine was complaining on how heavy my bag(tracts) was cuz she had to carry it on her, on the bike. I told her its called having a ‘burden for the lost’.

But really. I’m believing that slowly I’ll start witnessing to people. All Glory to Jesus Christ.

Yesterday we had a mighty time in prayer. The angles of God were kept busy all night. Also while waiting upon the Father I suddenly realised that I wasn’t right with him. God wasn’t attracted to my praises. I felt empty and asked what the matter was. This has been going on for a long time. And God spoke that if one has to come into God’s presence one has to be Holy. For He is a Holy God. If I want God to show up when I stand or talk, I need to be Holy. For He is the Holy one enthroned on Israel – Psalms 22:v3 “Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel.”

Shannon helped us see these points.

Consider this Hebrews 12:v14-Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
Psalms 22v 3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel.
Psalm 24( A Psalm of David)

Only those whose hands and hearts are pure,
who do not worship idols
and never tell lies.
5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing
and have a right relationship with God their savior.
6 Such people may seek you
and worship in your presence, O God of Jacob.

So I’m going to be Holy and Pure for God. So that I can serve the master at all times. And at this reminded me of something The Lord had commanded me to observe and to do a long time ago. To be true, I have neglected that command. But I have repented and given my word to God that I shall start again.
